Salvina has been a consistent and dedicated member before RiseAbove was even in their own location. She has always shown a passion to challenge herself, be involved and constantly sets new goals to keep herself growing and learning. She has recently hooked up with Luke at Amped Nutrition to work on meal plans to add to her healthy living regimen. She is the smiling face at the front of the class (in HER spot, lol). Congrats Salvina on always pushing forward, trying new things and giving it your all!
I have been a member of RiseAbove Fitness for at least 5 years now.
Before I joined, I was somewhat active, I jogged 3 times a week and played the occasional pick up soccer with the ladies, but felt I needed something more. I wanted help to increase my endurance and become stronger … I wanted to look fit.
At the time, I started off working out twice a week and slowly increased to 3, 4, and now minimum 5 days a week. This has become part of my lifestyle and have no plans in stopping. Being a woman in my 40’s I think it’s extremely important that I continue to be active which has helped my confidence and in the long run, lower my risk from osteoporosis and other aging ailments. That’s my goal!
RiseAbove is a place where anyone starting at any level will feel comfortable. Everyone works at their own pace and we all support each other. Attending a class doesn’t feel like a chore, classes are enjoyable and the ladies are fun to be around. That is what it should be like.
RiseAbove is my home away from home and I am forever grateful to Cheri and Matt.
